What changed between 2021 and 2026
The driver has followed Ping's release calendar: G400 LST, then G430 LST in 2023, then the G440 LST from the December 2024 snapshot onward. The loft settled at 9° after he used 8.5° heads in 2021 and 2022. The shaft has stayed in the UST Mamiya Elements family the whole time, moving from the Gold to the LIN-Q M40X White.
The irons tell a more useful story. Conners played a full set of iBlade blades in 2021 and 2023. By late 2024 he had moved to Blueprint T irons with Blueprint S long irons, and by June 2025 he had swapped the 4- and 5-irons for the i230, a cavity-back players iron. In other words, one of the best iron players in the world added forgiveness at the top of his set over the last two seasons, not less.
The wedges moved from a Ping Glide 4.0 and Titleist Vokey SM8 mix to three Ping S159s, so the 60° is now Ping too. That leaves the Pro V1 as the only non-Ping item.
The 6.0 shaft in every iron and wedge
Many tour players use a different, often softer, shaft in their wedges than in their irons. Cantlay and Horschel on this site both do. Conners uses Project X 120 6.0 all the way from the 4-iron to the 60°. The benefit is that his wedges feel like his irons on full swings. That fits a player who builds his game on approach play.

What amateurs can take from Conners's bag
- Low spin in the driver, forgiveness in the fairways. Conners uses the LST head only where he swings fastest. Most amateurs would do better with a Max-style fairway wood, as he does.
