About Peter
Peter Sandor is the founder and editor of Winner Golf Gear. No published source gives a handicap, a home course, or a swing speed for him, so this page does not state one.
He started Winner Golf Gear because most equipment content online either repeats manufacturer marketing or skips the details that matter to everyday golfers: loft and lie options, adjustable weight setups, launch price versus street price, and who a club is actually built for.
What Peter Covers
- Driver reviews: current and older models from Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping, Cobra, Mizuno and Srixon, organised by brand and year. Start with the Golf Drivers Guide.
- Golf ball reviews: construction, compression and who each ball suits. See the Golf Balls Guide.
- What's in the Bag: tour player setups and what amateurs can (and can't) learn from them, including our pro driver loft dataset and most used driver on tour analysis.
- Comparisons: head-to-head breakdowns such as TaylorMade Qi4D vs Qi4D LS.
- Tools and guides: the handicap calculator, club length calculator and beginner explainers.
Experience and Background
- Driver, ball, and what's-in-the-bag pages are research reviews: manufacturer specifications, launch prices, and independent tests that the page cites.
- A personal launch-monitor setup is not part of the published method. A review does not present a number as our own measurement unless that review states the session.
- He has not published a role with a club manufacturer or as a coach.
How Peter Reviews Gear
Every review starts with verified specifications from the manufacturer and launch pricing, then compares them with independent testing from established publications, which we cite and link. Where Peter has hit a club himself, the review says so and explains the conditions. Where he has not, the review says that too. You can read the full process on our How We Test page.
Editorial Standards
- No paid placements: brands cannot pay for a review or a ranking.
- Affiliate links are disclosed: some links earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They never decide a verdict. See our Disclaimer.
- Corrections: when we get a fact wrong, we fix it and update the page date. Spot an error? Tell us.
