Jazz Janewattananond, whose real name is Atiwit, is a professional golfer from Thailand. Born in Bangkok in 1995, he got his nickname from his dad who loved jazz music. Jazz started showing his talent early on, becoming the youngest golfer ever to make it past the halfway point in an Asian Tour event at just 14 years old! He turned pro soon after that.
Jazz has played on many professional tours throughout his career, including the Asian Tour, European Tour, Japan Golf Tour, and Korean Tour. He even took a short break from golf in 2016 to become a monk in Thailand. He says this experience helped him improve his focus and led to even better golfing.
Today, Jazz is a successful golfer with 11 professional wins under his belt, including 7 wins on the Asian Tour. While he hasn’t reached the top ranking yet, he has been ranked as high as 38th in the world.
