Should you play the pros' ball?
Every ball on this list is a urethane-covered tour ball. These balls give the most spin on short shots, which pros need to stop the ball on firm greens. They cost the most and, at slower swing speeds, they don't add distance. If you lose several balls a round, start with our beginner ball picks. If you want tour-level spin, the Pro V1 and Pro V1x reviews explain the difference between the two.
